Stanley B. Trice

I am an author who narrows the serious, widens the absurd, and satires everything else. If you, as the reader, want something that follows the same story plot you’ve read before that wins awards, do not buy my novels. Also, do not buy my novels if you like reading authors who use generative AI to be creative and write their story. Do enjoy my novels if you want to read something peacefully unique, easily entertaining, and with believable characters that make you happy.

After a childhood on a dairy farm, I spent three decades working in the Pentagon that qualified me to write fiction. I have had almost thirty of my stories published in magazines and I self-published several novels, all different. This guarantees me no author success as a brand name. Like Studs Terkel wrote, “Hope dies last.”

I live in eastern North Carolina where I belong to several writing groups and volunteer at nonprofits that include writing grants. More about me can be found at stanleybtrice.com.
