In high school, Timothy becomes an orphan and inherits a special rocket formula from his dad. He meets the janitor Eddie who is retired from NASA and owns a farm. Someone at NASA put a rocket in Eddie’s silo. Eddie called him ET.

This will be my science fiction section. I have two books coming later this year. Stay tuned!

I always enjoyed reading science fiction, yet I lost my way and published contemporary short stories about every day life that I turned into novels. I found my way back and my next books will be sci-fi only. It will be great.

These are my short story collections.

A Chance To Tell Ten Stories are ten different stories of everyday life when life stops being everyday.

Evidence of a Commuter Train are stories linked by the same characters riding a commuter train. They are my experience of riding the Virginia Railway Express between Fredericksburg, VA and Washington D.C. for over two decades.

A Boy’s Life with Older Sisters follows a ten year old boy to adulthood. It is not about my life. I grew up with four brothers on a dairy farm. Except, some of these experiences are mine.

These ten stories have people on a journey they did not plan to take. Their destination is unknown until they arrive. When lost, home can be a place of rest with no need to go further.

The uncommon life of train commuters unveils itself in these twenty stories about Phil, Angie, Tony, Clyde, Paula, and others who hope they don’t sleep past their stop again. Filled with drama, comedy, and adventure, these stories show people connecting with their fellow commuters by what happens on the train.

Uplifting, heartwarming stories of an inquisitive boy trying to understand his three older sisters.
